11 minutes difference in 3 weeks, what different that I have done?

Initially I was looking for some salt tablets to prevent the calf cramp issue I had in Scotia Marathon, then I found these eDISCS. Not sure how much I should take them, I've decided to take 1 disc after each hour and I carried 5 in total, but at last 6k or so to go in the race I took the remaining 2 discs. After finishing the marathon, my legs already had little cramps here and there, but still plenty of energy left, not sure if it was overdose of gel and eDISCS.
Did I get paid to say this? hahaha, no and of course this was not the only factor, I think the weather played the biggest role in this:
